Get Text Notifications for Updates on Missing Kids
In light of the recent disappearance of Gabrielle Swainson, parents can notify Lost Kidz users that a chid has gone missing.
The moments are terrifying when a parent realizes his or her child is not with them. An app, Lost Kidz, could ease that stress.
When a child goes missing, the parent or guardian can use the app to upload a photo and send out an announcement to other app users in the surrounding area.
"The alert contains a current photo, location and time that your child went missing, along with any details which you have chosen to add to the alert such as a description of clothing. With the help of the App, in the vast majority of cases you will be re-united with your child in a short space of time, but as time passes, the App issues further alerts to an increasingly wider area," according to the Lost Kidz website.
