Richland County Sheriff's Department deputies have arrested a 28-year-old man for allegedly shooting at a dwelling on Bush River Road.

Ahmad Zaghari is charged with discharging a firearm into a dwelling, and assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.

Deputies say they responded to a shots fire call shortly after midnight at 851 Bush River Road. 

Richland County Sheriff's Department spokesman Curtis Wilson said a woman who heard the shots was struck by fragments from one of the bullets.

The woman received non-life threatening injuries and didn't need medical attention.

Zaghari is being held at Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
