Rep. Ted Vick Charged With DUI--Again

Chesterfield Democrat was also charged in May 2012.

Rep. Ted Vick (D-Chesterfield) was charged with DUI early this morning by the Richland County Sheriff's Department.

One year ago Vick was charged with DUI and illegal possession of a firearm. The DUI charge was eventually dropped. With Vick at the time of his arrest was a 21 year-old college student, whom he said he was giving a ride home. Vick is married with two children.

According to the Free Times, Vick was arrested on Wednesday morning at approximately 1:15 a.m.

As of 11:00 a.m. Vick was still being held in lieu of $997 bond.

Vick's arrest last year was not enough to prevent him from being re-elected to a fifth team for the 53rd District, but it did cause him to withdraw from the 7th Congressional District Race.
