Upstate Dentist Arrested On Multiple Charges

Arrested at home Sunday afternoon.

Greenville County Sheriffs have arrested a Simpsonville man and filed multiple charges against him.

Police say Robert Edgar Stark was arrested shortly after 4:00 p.m. on Sunday after officers went to Starks's residence to arrest him on an active warrant for Unlawful Communications (Telephone). The warrant stemmed from a phone conversation Stark had when he threatened to shoot a woman, stab her "like a fish" and burn down her house.

According to the incident report, when deputies attempted to place Stark under arrest he became argumentative and refused to place his hands behind his back. Deputies eventually secured Stark, who did not have pants on when police arrived, and while detaining him they observed a homemade tin foil smoking device that contained a small amount of marijuana.

Stark is currently being held at the Greenville County Detention Center on the following charges/bonds; Unlawful Communications (Telephone), $1093.00, Resisting Arrest, $3,000.00, Simple Possession of Marijuana, $620.00, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, $1093.00.

Stark had been on contract as a dentist with the Greenville County Detention Center but that agreement was terminated.

I wouldn't want this man for a dentist. He's not intelligent enough to avoid saying anything about such a subject, as premeditated murder. I wonder if he's charged enough to his patients to cover all his costs?
