This is tragic. Lots of families in our State have been torn apart because of this.
And for what? Why are SC troops sent have way around the planet to occupy some Third World country? It has nothing to do with defending South Carolinians. Our Governor should order the SC National Guard home and refuse to allow SC Guardsmen to be sent into foreign conflicts. Our Guard should be here at home.
I won't tell people what to do but I wouldn't join the US military. Your patriotism and fighting spirit will be abused by politicians who will send you around the planet to fight in wars that have nothing to do with defending your family, home and friends.
