Dressbarn inside Dutch Square Center has been closed for a few weeks.

The women's clothing store was located near Super China Buffet and the entrance to Belk.

The next closest Dressbarn is in Lexington.

What do you think should go here? Tell us in the comments section below.

About this column: Every week or so, we'll post a picture of a vacant store or lot in the St. Andrews area. You can tell us what you think should replace the empty space. Know of an empty building we should highlight? E-mail tiffany.barkley@patch.com.

I noticed when I drove by at 8:30 or so last night that the Planet Fitness was doing a big business. I wonder if the mall couldn't use a place that caters to that clientele. What about a GNC- or natural foods-type business? When I was frequently malls more often, the hottest women's clothing store in that mall was a Hip Pocket, but that's been 20 years.

I used to love shopping at Dutch Square. In the past few years, it has gone downhill. I am not one of the walkers, but I would be afraid to go there. You have to be blind not to see all the panhandlers, druggies ete. It is not safe. More like Two Notch every day.

Someone comment on Facebook saying this should be a daycare. What do you all think?

Not a safe place, unless you add a police sub-station!
