Man Wanted for Carjacking, Credit Card Fraud

The Richland County Sheriff's Department is asking for the community's help in identifying this man.

Richland County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a man who stole a car and credit cards from a victim last week. 

The suspect pointed a gun at the victim before stealing his 2003 Subaru Legacy around 2:30 a.m. Aug. 16 on the 1200 block of Saint Andrews Road, according to a press release from the sheriff's department.

The suspect also took cash, credit cards and four bowling balls that were in the light green car.

About three hours later, a man deputies believe is the suspect was caught on video surveillance in the Walmart at 360 Harbison Blvd. He was purchasing a TV using the victim's credit card.
