“The governor has addressed this numerous times in words, and more importantly, in deeds. It’s a shame that the Democratic Party is intent on politicizing a crime that happened to so many South Carolinians, and continues to happen to so many people throughout our country, including at the top levels of national security.”

“It’s been months since the tax information of 6.4 million consumers and businesses was stolen and Governor Haley’s refusal to apologize only adds insult to grievous injury,” said SCDP Chairman Dick Harpootlian. “Even Mark Sanford tried to apologize for the embarrassment he brought to the State, but Nikki Haley doesn’t seem to have it in her to say she’s sorry. Time to apologize.”
