SC Ends Year with $68M Surplus

$50 million of surplus set aside for bridge repair in the state.

The State of South Carolina has an additional, higher-than-expected $68 million at the end of the fiscal year, the Post and Courier reported.

The publication reported that the surplus will be able to fund "every item on the Legislature's priority list for surplus revenue, as well as the full $50 million for bridge repair."
