Newport News Police arrested a man that was recently named in an indictment on charges of drug distribution.
A South Carolina man named in a 134-count indictment dealing with drugs, racketeering and the Bloods Street Gang was arrested today in Virginia, according to a report from local television station WVEC. Antwain Emanuel Brisbon, also known as Tweeze or Twan G, was wanted by federal agents on charges relating to gang affiliation and drug distribuition, the station reports. Brisbon was one of nine fugitives wanted after a two-year interagency Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force investigation targeting the Bloods Street Gang and their drug suppliers. Newport News Police arrested Brisbon after a standoff happened with officers.
