State GOP Celebrates Chick-fil-A

Palmetto State Republicans join protesters across the country.

It's the controversy that just won't die. Since Chick-fil-A President and COO Dan Cathy endorsed the "biblical definition of the family unit" in an interview with the Baptist Press on July 16, the fast food giant has been at the center of controversy. For the past two weeks social media feeds have been jammed with statements in support of or in opposition to Cathy. Not to mention polls and comment sections, including here at Patch. While many have used the opportunity to take a stand, many others are wondering how their food choices came to be connected to their views on marriage. In any event, the Chick-fil-A fuss reached a crescendo today when millions of people who agreed with Cathy, flocked to the nearest location.  South Carolina was …
