Report: Hells Angels Member Accused of Burning Columbia Strip Club

The leader of the Hells Angels and other members are implicated in the arson of Crush Gentlemen's Club.

A Hells Angels member is accused of setting fire in March 2012 to Crush Gentlemen's Club on River Drive as part of an insurance fraud scheme, according to a report in The State.  Daniel Bifield, former president of the Rock Hell City Nomad Chapter of the gang, is named in a document filed in U.S. District Court in Columbia as part of a group that tried to burn the club, according to The State. The allegations about the strip club fire are a foot note in a large document that was filed in response to a defense attorney's motions.  Bifield pleaded guilty to racketeering charges in December. Feds, Local Law Enforcement Bust Major Hell's Angels Ring

Nearly two dozen arrests made as authorities bust up multi-state drugs, firearms, and money laundering ring allegedly run by the infamous biker gang.

In early morning raids stretching from Lexington County into North Carolina, local, state and federal authorities said Thursday they have busted a major crime ring run by the infamous biker gang, the Hell's Angels. In a press conference at FBI headquarters, law enforcement officials, including Lexington County Sheriff James Metts, said they have made nearly two dozen arrests of Angels and associates on a slew of charges including drugs, firearms, arson, prostitution, and money laundering. This was an operation that dealt "in drugs, guns, money and power," said David Thomas, special-agent-in-charge for the FBI office in Columbia.
