Groups Come Together to Aid Sheriff's K9 Unit
Effort will provide high-quality food at reduced cost for the hard-working dogs.
Law enforcement K9's train hard and work hard, and like athletes, need high quality food — and lots of it — to perform. Thanks to a new effort, feeding the Richland County Sheriff's K9 deputies such a diet will become easier and cheaper. Sheriff Leon Lott said local community activist Elaine Gillespie had a vision to partner the Animal Mission and Natural Balance Dog Food together with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department — "all in an effort to provide quality dog food to the K9 Deputies who serve our communities with distinction and honor every day."
