Earlier this afternoon the South Carolina House of Representatives approved this year's budget. Later in the afternoon, the Senate followed suit.
Gov. Nikki Haley has five business days to review and veto items as she sees fit.
The House and Senate will then reconvene to overturn or uphold the governor's vetoes.
