Steve Benjamin Easily Outpacing Opponents in Fundraising

Less than six months from Election Day, Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin has a pronounced fundraising advantage on his two opponents.

Benjamin raised over $100,000 in the second quarter and has raised more than $300,000 total or nearly ten times that of his two opponents, Moe Baddourah and Larry Sypolt.

In the second quarter, Baddourah raised $16,610.49 while Sypolt raised $1,900.

Baddourah received donations from 48 people or groups while Benjamin received money from more than 300.
